What I Really Want for Christmas
September 2, 2007 by naomicorpuz
This post will be UPDATED every once in awhile, so please view every now and then.
October is fast approaching and I get busier, more worried and social life-deprived every time a semester is coming to an end. I am not the usual "24 hours last time logged in friendster user" anymore lately. With this, I decided to post as early as now my WISHLIST — ranging from "mura" to "mahal." I decided to widen the price range of the items because more are granted when there are more wishes to choose from… ‘em I right? And, people are not genies who limit to 3 wishes only.
My reasons for posting this blog is that I WANT TO BE HONEST with you. The cliche "It’s the thought that counts," well, counts. However, the reality is we also would like to receive what we "really want" for Christmas. And I also want to help those who intend to give me gifts this Christmas …and, ehmmm alright, my birthday too on Jan 10 (since most of them buy 1-give 1 anyway) and I don’t want to keep them guessing. So here goes…
School supplies:
This is a mead writing tablet I bought in the U.S. Anything similar will do. It must be pure white with no lines. And rectangular size must be or atleast close to: 6×9 in. or 15.2 x22.8 cm.

These are pagemarkers and must be the POST IT brand. =============================================================== =============================================================== =============================================================== ===============================================================
These are stick-on pads but MUST NOT BE THE POST IT BRAND. Hindi tumatalab sign pen ko kasi sa post-it, madulas. (Nagbebenta ako nito, pero kung may magbibigay okay rin, para hindi mabawasan ang items ko) =============================================================== ===============================================================
Flaglets. Must be POST-IT. =============================================================== =============================================================== =============================================================== =============================================================== =============================================================== ===============================================================

Food:
Gift certificates for PHO HOA. Their Chicken noodle soup is my favorite. I am not sure if they give GC’s though. I hope they do. (other options: Friday’s, Banana Leaf, Teriyaki Boy- *hoping not just for their Khani Salad*, Mcdo and Jollibee, Lim Nang, Bizu, Figaro *i like the sandwiches*… to be continued). ===============================================================
===============================================================
Apples and Grapes (please disregard the pear in the picture). Apples - must be Fuji. Grapes - violet and seedless (ofcourse, must be sweet… *may maasim na sinasabi ng tindera na matamis*). ===============================================================

Entertainment:
Best of Bukas Palad 1&2 (vocals and minus-one).
I saw the latest concert of Bukas Palad last month at Ateneo Gesu featuring their latest album Hindi Kita Malilimutan and one othe BP members gave me a free cd. I was delighted to see that Minus ones of the Best of Bukas Palad were being sold but I didn’t have money. When I sang Take and Receive in our church in Batac three christmases ago, I was accompanied by the organ and it didn’t sound well (my singing was overpowered by the sound of the organ). I would really be glad to have a copy. It is P300/cd. Available at: Tanging Yaman branches and leading record stores; also at Jesuit Communications Solulox Bldg in Ateneo.

VIDEO CD: Walang Hanggan.
DESCRIPTION: The Sacrament of Matrimony is just the beginning. With the help of married couples Lacap-Mesina, Casimiro-Querubin, Guillen-Delgado and Bersola-Babao, discover the complexities of life after the wedding, a life continually graced by the Lord’s presence. Hosted by Susie Entrata-Abrera (from Jesuit Communications website). I am not getting married. I am just very close to one of the featured wives in the video cd who is my mentor. Its P250/cd. Available at: Jesuit Communications Solulox Bldg in Ateneo. =============================================================== =============================================================== ===============================================================
Music CD of Julianne. I enjoy watching her in Studio 23 especially when she sings Grateful. =============================================================== =============================================================== =============================================================== ===============================================================

Wicked, the Musical - original soundtrack. I love listening to the the songs here. I was only able to download 3 songs. I hope I could have a copy of the entire thing. ===============================================================

Mizuno Wave Creation. Gear Category: Running shoes. U.S. footsize 7.5, Color: predominantly white (like in the picture). Price: a little above $100. I really like using my sister Chap’s mizuno (yellow & white) for workouts especially for the treadmill. Maganda ang kapit sa paa. They say Mizuno and New Balance are the leading quality rubber shoes today. Nike sometimes is all porma lang minsan.

===============================================================
===============================================================

Medium sized gym bag. There must be a separate pocket for the shoes. A bag that is not too big — but fit just right in the locker (maliliit locker sa fitness first). Pero wag namang sobrang maliit. Marami rin kasi akong magdala: bathtowel, sometimes books, food, clothes, waterbottle, facetowel, sponge — basta lahat ito magkakasya. Color: I like pink like in the picture, or violet, but any color will do).

===============================================================
===============================================================
Trainer socks. Length: like in the picture (mababa lang). Color: all white or predominantly white. Preferably: Nike, but any brand will do.
===============================================================
===============================================================
===============================================================
I like rubber slippers. I already have yellow (which is not in the picture). I like those with prints too. Violet and pink would be nice.
Flats. These are my most used flats. My U.S. footsize is 7.5. and I like those by Aerosoles (I want a black one in this brand). But, any brand and color will do.
Et.al. :
Vi-Gel. Available at: Mercury Drug. Price range: P50 - P100. It is for my backache and muscle tension - myofascia pain syndrome (MPS).
